About Us
Our founder, Emily Walsh, is a seasoned director, actress, and teacher, with a passion for guiding children and young adults through the exciting world of theatre. With multiple directing credits and awards with the Sears Drama Festival, and much experience teaching, directing and performing with Spotlight Theatre School and Marquee Theatrical Productions, Emily wanted to create a space where kids can be themselves, build confidence and friendships to last a lifetime, all while immersing themselves in the magic of the theatre.
Our Mission
At Soul Starz, we're passionate about helping kids discover their creativity and potential. Our programs are designed to teach the value of teamwork and collaboration by putting together a performance from start to finish, where kids have a say in the creative process and their ideas are encouraged. Our students build confidence and self-esteem through the art of performing, and they learn valuable life skills that will serve them well long after they leave our program.
